DSW Scholarship MSU 2024: The Directorate of Students’ Welfare (DSW) at Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) is inviting students who are financially weaker for scholarships.

DSW Scholarship Eligibility
(1) The candidate must be a regular/bonafide/enrolled student of “The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
(2) The financial condition of the student and his family is such that the total household income (including income of all family members living jointly in the same house) does not exceed a sum of Rs. 3,50,000/- (Rupees three lacs fifty thousand only) per annum.
(3) The candidate has secured at least 55% marks in his/her preceding examination and in case of SC/ST/PH/SEBC has secured 50% marks in his/her preceding examination.
(4) Has not availed or availing any financial assistance / fee waiver etc. Other like, from any source whatsoever, for the same / relevant academic period for which the candidate is seeking this assistance.

Required Documents for DSW Scholarship MSU 2024
• Recent Passport Size Photograph
• Specimen Signature
• Result with 55% overall passing marks, (Mark sheet of Academic year -2022-23 to be uploaded)
• For SC/ST/PH/SEBC overall passing marks is 50% (Mark sheet of Academic year 2022-23 to be uploaded).
• Fee Slip (Academic Year 2023-24)
• Faculty Identity Card/Government Identity Proof.
• Salary slip of parents or latest income certificate issued by the competent authority of Govt. of Gujarat.
• Latest Electricity Bill of your family or residence.
• Copy of front page of your own passbook of any nationalized bank.
• Disabled Identification card certified by civil surgeon (if applicable).
• Rent Agreement or latest rent payment receipt (if residing on rent).
• For Defence Certificate from Competent Authority (District Sainik Welfare & Resettlement Officer or Commanding Officer)
Selection Process
• DSW reserves the right to award scholarship to the most deserving student on the basis of criteria decided by committee, at its sole discretion, and the decisions of the Directorate regarding the same shall be conclusive and final.
• DSW reserves the right to continue to grant scholarship/financial assistance depending upon availability of funds.
IMPORTANT NOTE
• The application form for the Scholarship Financial Assistance, Fee waiver and/or Freeship will be available on University Website: www.msubaroda ac in by making payment of prescribed fees of Rs. 200/- (Non-Refundable) through Online mode. The date for submit the form is continue from 23-05-2024 (Thursday) to 06-06-2024 (Thursday).
• Applications incomplete in any respect and/or not attached with the required documents shall not be considered.
• Scholarship/Financial Assistance shall be granted for a period of ‘Two consecutive semesters and will not be automatically renewed for successive terms. Students seeking financial support for another year will need to submit a fresh application,
• Any intentionally made false or misleading claim in the application shall render the applicant liable for debarring from any assistance and/or other punitive action.
• Students of Faculty of Commerce are requested to Select Specific Unit/Building. in the DSW Form.
• Minority Students Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jain and Zoroastrians (Parsis)] can apply on National Scholarship Portal https://scholarships.gov.in
• For Category students (SC/ST/SEBC) register on following website http://www.digitalgujarat.gov.in
• Death Certificate of Father/ Mother in specific cases (if applicable) to be uploaded.
