State Merit Scholarship 2024 For 11th and 12th Students

State Merit Scholarship: The Vidyadhan Scholarship Program by the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation helps bright students from poor families attend college. After 10th grade, students are selected through a test and interview. The program supports about 8,000 students in the following states: Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Goa, Odisha, New Delhi, Ladhak, Bihar, Jharkhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.

Those chosen get a two-year scholarship and can receive further support for any degree course if they perform well. Scholarships range from Rs 10,000 to Rs 75,000 per year, depending on several factors. Selected students must attend mentoring programs for the Foundation, and applications are free and only available on the official website. No other entities are authorized to select students.

State Merit Scholarship Eligibility

(1) Students whose family annual income is less than Rs. 2 Lakhs.

(2) Students who have completed their 10th grade/SSC exam in the year 2024 from a recognised school/institution of the state.

(3) Students who have scored 80% or obtained 7.5 CGPA in their 10th Grade/SSC examination.

(4) The cutoff mark for students with disability is 65%.

Benefits

• Scholarship amounts for the selected students in the 11th and 12th grades will be a maximum of Rs. 10,000 per annum.

Required Documents for State Merit Scholarship

• 10th Marksheet (If original marksheet is not available , you can upload provisional /online marksheet from the SSLC/CBSE/ICSC website.)

• Recent Photograph

• Income Certificate (from a competent authority; ration card not accepted.)

Selection Process

• SDF will choose applicants based on their grades and the details they give in the application form.

• The shortlisted candidates will be invited for a short online test/interview.

• Students can apply free of cost on the website directly.

• No other person or institution has been authorised to select students on our behalf.

• DO NOT USE THE EMAIL ID of cyber café/DTP centre since all future communications will be sent to the registered email id. If you do not have an email ID, please create a new account in www.gmail.com or with any other email service providers. Please memorize the email login and password for future use.
